The Simpson's came from England and a George Simpson was sent over here by the King Of England
( Don't Know Which King, Have Never Found Out )
To do something about the Stamp Act (1765) and he felt the United States was right, so he stayed here
He was a cousin of the King
He resigned his post in England
I have this and other family history in a letter from cousin Etta, who died five years ago at the age of 104
( This was written in the year 1963 )
There was a brother of hers named George who was still living at the time, but don't know how to reach him
or where in Conn. he lives, for he didn't live in Wallingford

.

Cecil's 2nd cousin ( Gertrude Cook ) says she has a copy of the Genealogy Book of the Ruby Family
printed and complied in 1926 by their Great Uncle Laddie Ruby, but she says it does not contain any dates of
deaths or marriages or births.  She says my (Cecil's) Great Grandmother was Elizabeth Ruby
She married to Chancey Blakesley, who was my grandmother, she married Renza Conley.  They had 5 children,
Prudence married George Wilkie, they have children living in Minneaplis.  Ardilla married John Mahon, who rans the Creston Waterworks.  John run off with another cousin and Did was left with her only daughter ( Myrtle ) who eventually was married to Ernest Willetts, who live in Creston, she would be my ( Cecil's ) first cousin
Eva married Clarence Dant.  My ( Cecil's ) Dad had one brother Joseph, they say he was married but one knew his wife

.

Ina letter from Lelia Conley, she tells me that my grandfather, Renza Conley had a brother by the name of Thomas Conley, making two Thomas Conleys.  Thats why I ( Lenore ) always desided that my ( Lenores ) Dad
was Thomas Hartford Conley.  My ( Cecil's ) grandmother Sophia Conley, (After her hushands death) married a Tom Smith.  My grandmother had 4 sisters, Lola,Abigale, Anna and Della.  Lola Blakesley (Maiden Name - Mother of Gertude Cook ) married Frank Rose, Abigale married Dwellie Conley, Anna married George Conley, Della married Marion Conley.  These three sisters married these three Conley Brothers.  She says all the Conleys were related to her husband.  One of the Conley Brother's sister married Addy Ruby of Diagonal, Iowa, making the Ruby's In-Laws, but the children of the Conley girl and her husband, Addy Ruby, were my, ( Cecil's )
blood relation through the Conley bond.  All the others are only "grage-vine" people but were like a great big family.  Lelia says that my ( Cecil's ) father and here husband ( Clyde LeRoy Conly ) were cousins.  Lola Rose and Abigale Conley are buried at Creation, Iowa.  There were so many relatives of the Conleys, Blakeskeys and Rubys they held a Family ReUion for a good many years in different places in Iowa.  The last reuion we were invited to was held at Diagonal, Iowa with 200 attending.  There were mighty fine relatives and their reuions were sensational.  Aunt Lola Rose has a daughter Mrs. Gertrude Cook living in Branson, Missouri
